How Does Fire Suppression Affect You?
Maintenance
Who does the maintenance on your aircraft safety systems? Who services the emergency oxygen? Who services the engines? Who maintains the structure and airworthiness of your aircraft?
Safety Systems must be maintained on a regular schedule inline with standard aircraft maintenance intervals and procedures. Container based suppression systems may not be functional or damaged to the point to where they do not perform their intended function. One damaged container effectively negates the idea of having fire suppression on an aircraft.
Aircraft based solutions are the only effective means of maintaining a system that can suppress a fire and notify the flight crew of the event.
The Ventura Aerospace Fire Suppression Systems can give complete and accurate status of all container positions. This can only be accomplished with an aircraft based suppression system. Service modes can be accessed to determine the location of fault as well as checked at routine maintenance intervals. The control system continuously monitors the status of the system and will provide fault notification to maintenance personnel and flight crew. The control system can also provide real time thermal monitoring of compartment positions at all times. While not tied directly in the flight data recorders the control system will prerecord thirty minutes worth of thermal data as well as continuous recording after a fire suppression event.
